About The Studio

Founded in 2018 this exciting London start-up benefits from an incredible team with experience built at the likes of UsTwo, Wargaming, Sony, Rebellion & Lionhead.

Having made an exciting Pivot into the rapid growth area of Blockchain Gaming, First Light Games are hard at work developing Blast Royal, a free to play, fun to earn Battle Royal title.

With a solid Seed Round funding completed in Q1 2020 and led by Korea Investment Partners with support from Dune and Play Ventures they are now re-raising funds to grow the first recognised Blockchain Gaming studio in London.

Responsibilities & Requirements

As Growth Lead, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing a global and diverse community. You should have command of best practices and trends in cryptocurrency, play to earn games, social media, growth marketing, and digital marketing. You should be creative and understand how to both build and engage a niche global audience.

You will be involved in various responsibilities such as community communications, supporting them via Discord, Telegram, Twitter; organizing community related events like webinars and AMAs, and coordinating with other regional community managers for broader ecosystem initiatives. 

  • Community management across Discord, Twitter and Telegram
  • Manage all aspects of product launches, from messaging to social media 
  • Help with inbound ticket support.
  • Organized events like webinars, office hours, AMAs
  • Communicating and educating our players about game updates
  • Listening and collecting community feedback and reporting it to the product team to help improve our game
  • Reporting issues and bugs to the Tech and Product team
  • Identifying and building key relationships with members of our community
  • Identifying and champion adoption of labour saving services to aid you in your role
  • Organising Community events and competitions

In addition you will be responsible for finding, recruiting and building a global community management team.

About You

You will be the face of the project and have a direct impact on the health of the community on a daily basis by driving conversation, collecting feedback and organising innovative community events and social media campaigns.

To be considered you will need the following skills and attributes:

Technical:

  • Prior experience leading a community or with a Community Management role.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish language is a plus
  • Passionate about Video Games, especially Battle Royale and Action games.
  • Passion for gaming and crypto
  • A team player, empathic, and with proven problem-solving skills
