About The Studio

Founded in 2017 with diversity at its core, Electric Noir Studios have gone on to create Dead Man’s Phone, a BAFTA-nominated narrative-driven mobile game with over half a million organic downloads and mainstream acclaim.

Currently operating with a dedicated team of 10 they are looking to grow to 20 over the next 12 months and are searching for exceptional, passionate self-starters with fantastic communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Joining the studio as the Marketing Director / Head of UA your goal will be to drive growth on the mobile platform and become a key partner in the company’s long-term success.

  • Defining, setting up, and kicking off the studio’s user acquisition strategy
  • Driving the marketing strategy to maximise platform growth
  • Establishing a data-driven approach within Marketing, defining the metrics and product goals based on audience analytics and growth trends
  • Working closely with leadership to define marketing brief/vision and strategy
  • Supporting the launch of new content and providing insights to maximise market potential
  • Being a key stakeholder in the expansion and growth of the Marketing team
  • Planning, executing, and optimising paid media campaigns
  • Managing and allocating budget to marketing campaigns across various channels to drive strong return on investment and achieve targets

About You

The studio is looking for a talented Marketing Director / Head of UA with a desire to join a small start-up with huge growth potential. You will want more responsibility and work autonomy to make your own decisions and implement them fast.

To be considered you will need the following skills and attributes:


  • 5+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of the mobile market
  • Experience in liaising with Platform holders and securing features
  • Able to drive all aspects of the marketing plan
  • Experience with different areas from UA to KPIs and Community Management
  • Experience in managing storefronts for iOS and Android
  • Hands-on experience in managing UA campaigns at scale
  • Experience in creative optimisation and interactive approach to testing

  • Able identity, analyse and communicate trends
  • Able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders


  • Startup experience from concept to high growth
  • Experience in ASO, Social Media Marketing
